My Little Home and Garden - Sunlit Sunday
After seeing all of the beautiful tulips this week, I had to go out & get some of my own for the house.
These tulips are like a raspberry shade, they match my granny chic vibe that I have been creating in the Living Room this past week.
When I took them out of the pot to replant them in a terracotta planter, the roots of the tulip bulbs wound up so tightly reminded me of a woven birds nest...
This naturally distressed terracotta planter usually sits out on the back covered porch.
I made a little Spring arrangement in it, I couldn't resist any longer ;0)
So, what I would seasonally see this planter filled with summer annuals when I look out the window...
Here is a reverse image of me outside the window looking in the front bay window.
It filled with a Spring planting in the Winter.
"Bringing the outside in"
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
All the Best,
Christine

Very very nice!
ReplyDeleteHey Christine- I'm all for bringing the outside in too! I wish I had more room for the plants I grow in the summer. I love your tulip roots and they do resemble a nest! That color is outstanding! I do like your terracotta flower pot- that's a great idea to plant some already growing bulbs together like that!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty, Christine. Enjoy the weekend.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos :) I can't wait to decorate with eggs :)
ReplyDeleteLovely shade of tulips and the roots do look like a birds nest. I'm all for bringing the outside in! Happy Sunlit Sunday!
ReplyDeleteI especially love the photo where the eggs are reflected below...that is just beautiful ( and a clever shot! :)
ReplyDeleteThe tulips brighten the day. The root system certainly does look like a bird nest, lovely photo with the eggs around it.
ReplyDeleteGood Morning, Christine
ReplyDeleteWhat a great eye you have. It was so clever to display your "nest" along with the egg and it put a whole new spin on the tulips.
I also like the photo that shows the beautiful trees reflected in the window. Your "granny chic" vibe has a fun, current flare to it.
Thank you for bringing the tulips to "Sunlit Sunday". Enjoy your Sunday!

ReplyDeleteSun on the eggs - creative and fun! I also like the last photo with a double photo.
ReplyDeleteStopping over from Sunlit Sunday....what a beautiful photo! I love it...makes me dream of spring flowers.
