Hello,
It is the start of another brand new week ;0)
I have been walking around the gardens trying to see if there is anything happening yet....
Nope...everything is still sleeping!
My garden urns are still in winter storage...
I would love to add something like this to my gardens...
Love the size of it!
Or this one, I want it big enough that I can see it from a long distance away...
When we are sitting on the covered porch or from inside my kitchen window.
A couple of the spheres would be very nice as well...
I have entryways into the garden & patios that these would be perfect for!
These pieces are not easy to find and when you do find them the price is very expensive...
There has got to be a better way to get the look & interest that I want and for the right price!
I have this urn in the cedar hedge garden and love it!
This lantern will return to the cedar hedge garden as a point of interest...
A little something to cast your eye upon!
I like to enjoy these pieces all year long, for every season...
This is my new bird bath that I purchased last summer.
It sits in the day lily / perennial border garden.
A concrete piece to heavy to move about so I just set the basin on its side for the winter...
I can't wait to fill it up with fresh water every morning...
I found these urns the other day while I was out & about!
What do you think...they are fiberglass & bright colours...
Or just crisp, clean & white...
Good thing there is still lots of time before I have to choose...
What would be your choice concrete or fiberglass urns?
Have a great week...!
All the Best,
Christine

These are all really nice urns Christine. Are the fibreglass ones weatherproof all winter? They would be the easiest to bring inside in the fall for sure. I have some pots that are made of some kind of fibre and have left them out all winter for several years with soil and greenery in them and they did really well. Never cracked! As for colour, I'm partial to lime green. :) Those particular urns look quite nice. I hope you find something suitable. Pam
ReplyDeleteI do love the urns. I have more container plants than I ever meant to have as you have to be way more careful about watering. I like those new ones though.

You have some lovely urns for your garden, and you wish list is wonderful too. Are the fiberglass ones light? and could they stay outside all winter. I guess when filled with soil they wouldn't move around. A splash of colour would be lovely but I wonder if it will hold the colour. Over the winter you could fill them with greenery for added interest in the garden. We have a really old cement bird bath to add to the garden this year. It doesn't work and belonged to my SIL's grandmother. It is a 2 tier one so I'm thinking I'll plant it up with some hardy plants. But first I have to get it moved into a spot into the garden. Looking forward to working outside once again.
ReplyDeleteChristine those concrete urns are beautiful, I love the look they add to a garden! Love the bright colored ones too!
ReplyDeleteOh these are all wonderful Urns.
ReplyDeleteI leave mine out year round. They are way to heavy to move.
I am loving urns too Christine. I bought a large red one at Home Goods last year. It's ceramic so I keep it out on the porch. Still being stored in the garage for now. I want new ones to put out by my garage. I prefer concrete or cast iron, but oh mama they can be pricey! I have seen some large fiberglass ones at Hobby Lobby. May be what I have to settle for by my garage. Can't wait to see what you get!
